Cru is a group of communities where the gospel captures hearts, transforms lives, and launches men and women into a lifelong adventure with Jesus Christ.
What's happening this week:
We have small group Bible studies (Community Groups) happening all over campus. Find the best one for you here.
Men: wake up and learn some skills to help you man up! 6am every Tuesday in November. Basement of LaPlata.
Come out to Cru (large group meeting). Every Thursday at 8pm. Armory 0126.
We're in the midst of LOVE WEEK until November 16. Drink only water to give clean water to the people of Ruhango Rwanda. You can still take the pledge and give. Tshirts are now only $5 - what a steal!
People are praying in groups all over campus throughout the week. Check out the prayer group schedule and stop in on one of the groups.
No Prayer and Cookies this week (Nov 17). But save the date... Friday nights at 7pm. There will be cookies. And prayer. Art/Soc 3207.
There's something for everyone to take a study break each day:
Tuesdays at 10pm: Walleyball at Eppley Racquetball Courts
Wednesdays at 4pm: Spikeball on LaPlata Beach
Thursdays at 4pm: Volleyball at the Sand Courts on LaPlata Beach
Have you registered for Cru's Winter Conference at the Waterfront Marriott in Baltimore. December 28-January 1? You should. SGA is giving you $50 towards it.
We know you're already making plans for your summer. Make sure a Cru Summer Mission is amongst your options! If you want to grow in your faith and get some really great training, a stateside summer mission is just right for you. If you're up for a challenge, go overseas to spread the gospel. If it just doesn't seem possible because your advisor says you absolutely must have an internship in your major this summer, you can have both - TriLife Jacksonville is a summer mission designed around internships (internships not provided - you must secure your own).
